It’s a packed schedule on Wednesday night with ten games on the docket. The marquee matchup is a showdown between the top two teams in the East as Indiana hosts Miami; the two title contenders have split two meetings this season. Also on tap, the red hot Clippers, winners of nine of their last ten, take a trip to the Big Easy to face the hungry Pelicans; and the even hotter Spurs will look for a 15th consecutive win against the fading Nuggets. Here is a breakdown of the night’s action with the latest point spreads.

PHOENIX AT WASHINGTON (+1.5)

Like Dallas and Memphis, the Suns are fighting for their playoff existence every time they take the floor. They have won four straight, including four of five away from home, but still remain ½ game out of the 8th seed. Point guard Eric Bledsoe is rounding into form after recovering from a knee injury; he has averaged 21.3 points in his last three starts. The Wizards are struggling of late, losing three of four. The backcourt of John Wall and Bradley Beal has been solid all season, but recent bench contributions from Drew Gooden are a pleasant surprise; he is netting 16.6 points and 7.6 rebounds in his last five games. Phoenix is 6-1 ATS in their last seven trips to D.C and 25-9 ATS on the road overall. Washington is 6-14-1 ATS in their last 21 home tilts. Expect a shootout in this one.

Bet Phoenix -1.5

LA CLIPPERS AT NEW ORLEANS (+7)

Besides San Antonio, no team is hotter than the Clippers. They’ve won 13 of 14 and sit third in the Western Conference standings. Tonight kicks off a 5-game road trip for LA that will end in Phoenix next Wednesday. Despite their recent streak, the Clipps looked pedestrian versus Detroit and Milwaukee. The good news is Jamal Crawford is back after missing eight games with a strained calf; he scored 13 and dished 5 assists off the bench on Monday. The up and coming Pelicans have won four of five and are coming off victories over Miami and Brooklyn. Rising star Anthony Davis has topped 30-plus points in five of his last seven starts, and small forward Tyreke Evans is netting 22.8 points over his last five starts. LA is just 2-10 ATS in their last dozen visits to New Orleans. Pelicans are 7-3 ATS in their last ten overall. Clippers are 3-0 in the series and have won each game by at least 13.

Bet LA Clippers +7

MIAMI AT INDIANA (-2)

Doozy of a matchup here and a possible peek at the Eastern Conference Finals. The two powers have split two meetings this season with each winning at home. Neither team has been a good bet lately. The Heat are 0-6 ATS in their last six road games. The Pacers are 1-5 ATS in their six at home and a pathetic 2-10-1 in their last 13 versus the East. That said, Indiana boasts a league best 32-4 record at home. Toss up in this one. Probably best to avoid it entirely.

Bet Indiana -2

DENVER AT SAN ANTONIO (-13)

The Nuggets’ roster resembles a triage unit at this point in the season. J.J. Hickson is done for the year after tearing an ACL, and Wilson Chandler is nursing a sore groin. Ty Lawson is posting career numbers, but he can only do so much. Meanwhile, the Spurs are flat out rolling with 14 consecutive wins with six of the last seven by double-digits. This is a huge number and San Antonio is due for a flop. However, the Nuggets appear too banged up to keep it close.
